1775th Squad Orientation Guide

TeamSpeak

TeamSpeak is a voice program that allows you to talk with players during the game. You can download TeamSpeak at www.goteamspeak.com. It is not a requirement to be on TeamSpeak, but it is highly recommended. To get the most accurate information as quick as possible you will need this program. All leadership positions in the squad are required to be on TeamSpeak so that they may receive the orders for their members quickly and accurately.

Servers and use
Currently we use our own TeamSpeak server. We have our private server which is 82.165.235.163:8520. To register for this server you will need to find a server admin online to get your account set up and ready to use. You must use your in-game name as your nickname when logging in to the server, and your name should follow 1775th.

While on TeamSpeak there a few guidelines that we use in order to maintain communication with the members. When logging on to TeamSpeak please use your channel. The channels are divided up to match the roster. This improves the level of communication since we have so many members online at once. At times there will be only a few members on TeamSpeak and they may group together in on channel. “Break” is used to clear the channel at any time. When you hear someone call break immediately stop all communications and let the break continue their transmission. Clear and unobstructed communication is the key for all of use to accomplish our missions successfully. While in battle please refrain from daily conversations and non battle related communication so that the vital information can be heard by all. Each member that is on TeamSpeak also should still use squad chat to maintain contact with members that are not on TeamSpeak.
